Apollo's SQL Suite data extraction and reporting software provides the engine for numerous NHS and partner projects in Primary Care such as the Connecting for Health QOF Assessor Validation Toolkit and a number of projects run by our partners Health Intelligence.

The software is installed in almost every practice in England, all practices in Northern Ireland and many in Scotland and Wales but because it runs quietly and efficiently in the background in most cases, many practices do not even realise it is there.

Our audits, both manual and fully automated are run hundreds of thousands of times each month from small scale extracts to support, for example, individual practice level Flu vaccination reporting, to PCT wide and even National extracts supporting disease audits such as COPD, Diabetes and Sexual Health as well as, for example, vascular screening.

Data can be extracted as either anonymised or patient identifiable, depending on the needs of the project and subject to appropriate permissions being obtained - Apollo is IGSoC compliant.

Data can be left with a practice in the form of an Excel spreadsheet and / or securely transmitted to a database for amalgamation and aggregation.

We have commercial agreements in place with all Primary Care GP clinical system suppliers to ensure that practices are fully supported.

Our experience allows us to provide a full service from designing an extraction specification through to implementation and ongoing support.

Best of all, in most cases, Apollo audits are run completely automatically so practices do not need to do anything except provide authorisation for the extraction to take place.
