The prescribing of medicines is a very complex and costly area within the NHS.  With prescribing costs reaching near 20 billion pounds in the NHS for 2010.  Understanding which medications to prescribe and to whom efficiently, effectively and safely, has never been so important.

Good Medicines Management supports health professionals and patients to make treatment choices that are safe, effective and deliver meaningful outcomes.  An evidence based approach to product choices must balance safety, tolerability, effectiveness, price and simplicity of treatment and with the complexity of integrated care pathways across different care settings, maintaining a detailed record of patients’ medicines is an increasingly complex problem.

CDRIntell’s Medicines Management Analytics can provide clinicians and commissioners with the necessary prescribing data, in the form of powerful dashboard reports to assist with making these key decisions.
